Lots of fish catchin around here!

Last three trips have seen lots of short fluke with a few keepers in the mix.  Many short fish are going 18.5 in.  Porgies are being caught abundantly with anchor/chum or drifting techniques off of Oldfield and Cranes Neck.  Literally hundred of small Seabass are also being caught.  Just wait until I find them big mamas.  Todays chunking went slowly , but a change to bunkerspoon trolling produced two nice fish, 17 & 25 lbs respectively.  Those of you that want to catch striped bass, must understand that bass feed predominately in low light conditions, morning, dusk and night time.  Morning is my preference.

Hope to fish with you soon!
